Botswana is home to the Okavango Delta, the largest inland delta. This is a magnet for the wildlife who depend on the permanent waters of this unique feature.  The Kalahari Desert covers most of Botswana and is the largest wind-blown sand on the planet. The variety of birdlife, the ancient discoveries, the art galleries and the enviable infrastructure are just all more reason to combine with the peace and quiet when you visit this country.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Most nationalities, including UK, USA, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and South African passport holders, do not require a visa to visit Botswana for up to 30 days. 

CLIMATE

For the major part of the year, the climate of Botswana remains dry. In the summer months, the weather of Botswana undergoes little change and the land receives irregular rainfall. The rainy season at Botswana is not regular.

ELECTRICITY

Electricity in Botswana. In Botswana the power sockets are of type D, G and M. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.
